4th Annual "Virtual" Being a Light in the Darkness 5k

Please consider partnering with us in our ongoing mission to give young women in our community a fighting chance to rise above their circumstances. Due to COVID-19 recommended protocols, the 4th Annual Being a Light in the Darkness 5K is held online, via our Facebook group at "4th Annual Being a Light in the Darkness 5k". Participants will be able to complete the 5k at their own schedule and/or pace between now and September 12th. Even though we are physically distanced, we can still do our part in the community by staying involved virtually through communication, raffle drawings, and pictures of one another's journey along the way. We encourage racers to light up their own neighborhoods as a means of showing support for Hannah's House 119.  

Registration:

•  Prior to August 17th the registration fee is $25.00. This guarantees you will receive your requested t-shirt size. You will also be entered to win a $25.00 gift card. 
•  After August 17th, registration is $30.00 and t-shirts will be provided as supplies last.
• If unable to physically pick up tshirt at our East Canton location, there will be an additional $5.00 charge.

Additional $25.00 gift cards will be presented for: 

• Most referrals (your name must appear on registration form of friend or family member to be counted)
• Most creative or "brightest" outfit while participating in the 5k. The selfie that is posted to the Facebook event that receives the most "likes" by 5:00PM/EST on September 12th wins!
• Most interesting picture taken along the way. The picture that is posted to the Facebook event that receives the most "likes" by 5:00PM/EST on September 12th wins!
• Person completing the 5k furthest from our East Canton location. Post your location on the event page for everyone to see where you are from.

*We reserve the right to remove any pictures we deem inappropriate.
