About the event
Mentor 102 is an in-person training led by Director, Patti Hostetler and is required before serving as a mentor. This session goes deeper into who we are, the students and families we serve, and the importance of trauma-informed, consistent mentorship. You’ll receive training on human trafficking awareness, expectations for mentors, and how we support safe, healthy mentoring relationships.
During this session, we’ll also complete required onboarding items including paperwork, background screening, and mentor identification. Mentor 102 is an important step in ensuring every mentor is equipped, informed, and prepared to serve well.
