"...and the Lord remembered her."

Every Girl Has a Story That Matters: Welcome to Our New Digital Home

At Hannah’s House, we believe something profound: every girl has a story that matters.

Her voice matters. Her dreams matter. Her questions matter.

And the environments she grows up in-the systems, relationships, and opportunities around her matter too.

For many of the girls we serve, life has already introduced adversity far earlier than most adults ever expect. Some have faced instability, trauma, or disruptions in education. Others arrive through referrals from Family Court or partners in the community who recognize both the urgency and the possibility within their story.

But here is what we know with certainty: prevention and healing begin with connection.

When a girl is given a safe environment, consistent relationships, and opportunities to grow, she begins to rewrite her future. She discovers strength she didn’t know she had. She learns to use her voice. She gains tools and life skills. She builds confidence in her identity. And slowly, she realizes she does not have to navigate life alone.

Why a New Website?

As our programs and partnerships expanded over the last few years, Girls Clubs, mentoring, Truth Rallies, school groups, life-skills workshops, and special events, we began to hear a recurring question from the community:

“How do I get involved?”

We needed a digital space that:

  • clearly explains who we are and what we do

  • shares the stories and impact of the girls

  • helps volunteers, mentors, and donors plug in easily

  • serves as a front door for families, referral sources, and partners

  • provides accurate information about our prevention and support efforts

  • honors the mission with excellence

This new website is one more way we get to say to the girls and to our community:

Your story matters. Your voice matters. Your role matters.

A Special Word of Gratitude

The Sisters of Charity Foundation of Stark County awarded Hannah’s House a grant to support our website rebuild. This investment strengthens our ability to serve girls, inform families, and mobilize the community around prevention, mentoring, and life-skills programming. We are sincerely grateful for their partnership and belief in our mission.

What Comes Next

You’ll begin to see more stories, more resources, and more opportunities to engage throughout the year. We invite you to explore the new site, learn more about the girls we walk with, and consider how you might join the story.

Because when a girl knows her story matters, her future begins to change.

Welcome to our new digital home.

We’re so glad you’re here.
